I ordered this radio to connect to computer speakers in a drive-in theater (with inverter powered speakers). I've only seen one show with this radio so far, a temporary show in a mall parking lot with an inflatable screen. The radio tuner couldn't play the movie locally without a lot of static electricity, while the radio in my truck tuned it to perfect CD quality (or as close as an FM radio can get). very sensitive as I previously did a channel scan which caught every local station as well as a few more distant stations that I wasn't familiar with. Could it be that the pop-up was broadcasting on a frequency that this portable radio was also picking up interference from a distant station broadcasting on the same frequency that was too far away to affect my truck's radio? I will try again in a more permanent cinema before returning it just in case. Until I do that I can't really tell if the tuner is too sensitive or not sensitive enough. A few other issues are that the radio uses mini-USB for charging - not micro or USB-C, but mini. Who still uses mini USB? In addition, you cannot gradually increase the frequencies. You can only switch from scanned presets to scanned presets or enter channel numbers manually.
