A well made product will eliminate the tie rod end and the need for realignment.

Perfect fit for my 2005 Explorer Sport Trac. The tie rods were in good condition but had torn dust boots. Few tools and about 15 minutes each and the boots were installed. Very well made, looks like they will outlive the tie rod ends. They hold grease well when lubricated. Highly recommended.
