I do not recommend! (Cheap, loose clips/difficult to hang)

I like frameless glass frames but have never ordered them from Revain. Firstly 5 out of 6 lenses of the frame were broken/broken due to faulty packaging from Revain... But secondly I was very disappointed after trying one that wasn't broken. The clips are not tight enough and cheap. There are 6 clips on 11 x 14, 2 on the longer sides, 1 on the shorter sides. Maybe it was because one of the clamps was really loose (and one was on the one I tried). These frames are also VERY difficult to hang on hangers on the back of these frames. I attached the ones I had before to the brackets themselves (easy!). But of course that doesn't work with clips that aren't strong enough. The ones I had only have 4 clips, for 11 x 14, and hang a long time, no problem. Purchased some time ago from the art department of our university bookstore. Revain refunded my purchase. But I've decided not to risk ordering again (due to the potentially larger amount of broken glass) and I wouldn't order the same frames. I found this type of frame at a small local shop recently... and wow! Much better! Yes, they are more expensive, but for me it is better to spend a little more for a quality product. The frame I bought from the local shop has foam filled around the edges, good idea! They are similar to the ones I bought at the university bookstore many years ago. Also made in China. Comparing the new frame to this Revain Ambiance frame, the clips are noticeably stronger and thicker. On 11 x 14 there are only 4 of these as I had before. There are no hangers on the back like the Ambiance. So I assume it's easy to hang the clip yourself. And just hang! The back panel is also slightly thicker and of better quality (no white inner surface to peel off). The Ambiance's board and glass weren't a major issue for me, but I appreciate the higher quality frame. I think it depends on what you want to use this framework for and how specialized you are. I use them to hang pictures/photos on the walls and want them to be long lasting and easy to use. Ambiance is definitely cheaper, but if you have the same concerns as me, I wouldn't recommend them.
