This is exactly what I was looking for. Great product for many reasons. The build quality seems amazing. Good weight and all knobs and buttons feel nice and tight. Comes with everything you need to connect to your camera including cable and tripod adapter. Of course, the two biggest features are the ability to connect multiple microphones to this device and then output audio directly to the camera (where you can adjust the volume of each device/microphone) or directly to an audio recorder. The next big benefit is the ability to know if there is a headphone jack. Many cameras have microphone jacks but no headphone jack and that gives you one. It's very important to hear with mics before even sounding on the recorder and that gives you that. So cool! I really can't find anything better for the price. A fantastic addition to your camera, especially when sound is as important as it should be. Just buy it!
