Strange cube upon cube - just two USB ports

At first glance, the Ankare power strip looks like a good idea. For some users it may be. For others, that may not make much sense. A "strip" isn't a strip at all, it's two cubes: the top cube has sockets (which you can plug a plug into) and a pin socket which can be plugged into a socket. lower cube or used separately. The bottom cube has 5 sockets. One of them can be used to mount the top cube. It can also be used to connect another device. There are two USB ports on the base. you use it) from each cube. Placing this in the middle of a table or desk allows you to connect items that are on the sides, front and back of the cubes. In some cases this can work. I can imagine that maybe a plug is connected to a laptop. The printer is connected at the side. On the other side could be a table lamp or an external monitor. I'm sure if you're like me you'll find a use for each of the connectors, but wrapping cables around this thing can be a hassle. Since the power supply leaves a lot of space between the sides, you can easily connect large power supplies to each port. This is the main strength of this plug, and the surge protection makes it even more valuable. It comes with a long cord and can be placed under a table or desk - even on the floor. Some users may find it useful to run separate cables from this device. Having only two USB ports is a bit disappointing - it would be nice to have one or more USB-C ports in addition to the two USB-A ports. So I'm a bit undecided about this power strip.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
