I've been using this for six months, so far I have nothing to complain about. I know that knocking defective discs sometimes slip through this model, but it usually turns out almost immediately, and mine was not one of those. I store video and work files on it - everything opens in an instant. Provided, of course, that you disable head parking in the OS power settings. But if this is not done, then any disk will be stupid. I did not do it right away, so in a year Toshiba managed to park about 600 times. This is noticeably more than two relatively old WDs in the same building, but if you count, in five years it would be only 6,000 parking lots - dozens of times less than they write in bad reviews for some drives. In general, while satisfied, we'll see how long he lives.
