First, they are 17.25 inches tall. Well that's not a problem, they clean very well. Rinsing with warm water while cleaning is all you need to remove most of the dirt. They are soft, absorbent and do a good job on light stains/dirt on my hardwood. I'm taking off a star because they chip a bit after washing. With my other microfibers in cold water. When they come out sometimes little blue dots come out that doesn't transfer to my other towels much but not 5 star quality I would buy them again
