Birch Casey has a fanatical following who think it's a top product. I decided to give it a try. I can say it's good but not great. Because? it is said to be "a concentrated solution diluted with water". I applied it to a wooden board without thinning and it's still very light and not quite hazel (see left side in uploaded image). On the right side I applied Meyer walnut stain. As you can see it is much richer and more natural in color than birch stain. The only good thing is that it was a cheap can so I didn't lose too much but I definitely learned a lesson for the future.
