Review on 🌀 iLIVING ILG8SFSC - Adjustable Precision Fan Speed Controller 120V 8A, Black by Curtis Castillo

This summer I purchased an iLiving exhaust fan for my workshop through Revain along with the recommended iLiving speed controller. The fan itself worked fine but the speed controller failed within a few weeks of occasional use and the replacement speed controller also failed yesterday, also within 30 days of purchase. Revain will refund my money but I do not recommend the ILG8SFSC ESC. This is not new technology. There is no justification for launching such a flawed product. Update February 11, 2021: The speed controller that iLiving recommends for their fan is rated for a maximum current of 8 amps, but I've found that the current drawn is over 10 amps when you start at high speed, which is why the first two devices I tried failed so quickly. The third still works because I'm running the fan at low speed now and gradually increasing it.
