I would like it in grey. It would be convenient if the temperature controller not only reset to zero but also powered down entirely while continuing to be plugged into the power outlet. This would ensure that the waffle iron would not turn on even if the controller was inadvertently tampered with. They haven't needed to be washed as of yet. Beautiful laconic design. Constructed with care. The handle does not get hot. There are certain drawbacks, such as the fact that the tops of the waffles are ruddier than the bottoms, but I've seen this issue with other waffle irons as well. It's not a big deal, so I just ignore it. The relief of the waffle on top is less than that of the waffle on the bottom because there is no mechanism for fixing the panels.
