First, the USB ports didn't work. My hardware (mouse, external hard drive) could not be used. They started working and then stopped for a few minutes. waste of money. I tried again. It worked for a while and failed again. I also tried the HDMI connection. It worked for a while, and then it went wrong too. I intend to contact the manufacturer as it is too late to return to Revain. Second: The manufacturer sent me a new one. It works much better, but it still seems to lag or drop out at times. I have to restart my computer for HDMI to work again. Update: After a few months of use, my remote mouse and keyboard started freezing horribly. I wasted my time and money thinking it was my batteries, my router, or my internet. Nobody solved my problems. I took out this adapter and plugged it directly into my Surface Pro and now my mouse and keyboard are working again. Great idea, but it didn't work for me as intended. Very disappointing - especially as far as I remember being Revain's choice.
