This compact and efficient expander adds a range of ports to the Surface

This port expander is a very good addition to my Surface Pro 4. I use it for my HDMI to external monitor adapter. Works great for that. The part is well built, lightweight and offers many expansion options. Its small size makes it very convenient to travel with. I started with Microsoft's original Surface port, which was huge and heavy. Although it's not that flexible, it fits my needs perfectly. Highly recommended to all Surface owners.

Will not work with Surface Pro 6 Portable Hard Drive

Purchased as part of a student purchase of the Surface Pro 6 and accessories. The Surface Pro 6 was ordered in the "Maximum" configuration and shipping took some time, so this combo dock was not tested before the return deadline. Toshiba Canvio portable hard drive was not recognized when used. The hard drive is perfectly recognized when connected directly to the USB port of the Surface Pro 6. As the docking station is made specifically for this application, it is unusable and I do not recommend

Great portable adapter

Great product for adding an SD card port to your Microsoft Surface Pro 6. I take a lot of photos and love connecting my SD cards to my photo transfer devices. I recently switched to a Surface from a traditional laptop and I love it, but I need an SD port. This adapter is small and compact. Fits easily in my Surface case so I always have it with me. The only bad thing I can say. If the Surface is connected to the Microsoft Dock, the adapter will not fit without disconnecting the dock connector…

The first didn't work. The replacement was better but also failed. I wouldn't buy this.

First, the USB ports didn't work. My hardware (mouse, external hard drive) could not be used. They started working and then stopped for a few minutes. waste of money. I tried again. It worked for a while and failed again. I also tried the HDMI connection. It worked for a while, and then it went wrong too. I intend to contact the manufacturer as it is too late to return to Revain. Second: The manufacturer sent me a new one. It works much better, but it still seems to lag or drop out at times. I…
