. Even after Revain sent a replacement for the first (faulty) filter, the second is so slow (compared to other filters I've used) that my whole family now stops drinking filtered water. . Serious. It's advertised as "0.5 gallons per minute" (i.e. half a gallon per minute), but it takes over a minute to fill a 1 liter can. It takes so long for the fridge's internal timer to shut off the flow before we even pour a liter of water. With repeated measurements and (simple) calculations, the flow rate is WELL BELOW 0.25 GPM and we hate it. Facts: This filter is brand new, fresh from Revain. This is a replacement for an identical new filter from Revain that suffered from the same terrible flow. The water pressure in our fridge is normal/sufficient - it hasn't changed. Other (non-OEM) filters flow at 0.5 GPM with no further adjustments to the setting.
