I am posting this information because I searched for it before making the purchase. I didn't get any clear feedback from anyone. I dared to try it on my device and it works great. My computer is a Dell Optiplex 9020 with Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics. The display port is only on the back of the computer, no HDMI. I didn't know if I needed an active or passive adapter. no one has definitely posted anywhere if this will work.
