Too much padding can also be bad.
I was looking for a washcloth in the shape of mittens with a rather rough texture. This washcloth met those requirements, but the padding was so thick that the washcloth was not very manoeuvrable. There was almost an inch of padding beneath the surface of the loofah: useless. I threw away the pad.
