I installed this extension so I could have a little distance from the end wall with my waterfall shower head and it worked well for almost 5 showers, during the 5th shower, the threaded handle just slipped dropping the shower head onto my head, I tried to put it back up but couldn't get it to re-tighten.I shut it off, got out,dried, dressed, then treid to see what the problem was.Turns out the threads in the handle are completely stripped and will not grab the nut it locks onto.Buyer beware :Yet another cheap china part that is not up to useable standards, quite commone in the last couple years, seems everything I buy that was manufactured in china, is cheaply made, measurements are 2 mm off, or it is just the completely wrong part and no return.Things use to be made in america and lasted many years, but because they could make more profits, they shut down our manufacturing and textiles in the usa and our politicans invested in foreign manufacturing markets and imports to get excessively rich while the nation is flooded with inferior products and millions of tons of plastic.
