Garbage - don't waste your money

Complete garbage. I bought 3 of these. 1 I sent back immediately for a replacement. The other two are broken and now live in the landfill I assume.They don't stay in place. They leak at all the joints, even with Teflon tape. They constantly fall down.The nuts are basically plastic and can't be tightened properly.I had to replace them all with sing-piece extensions that don't have moving parts.

Shattered in six months

I heard screaming from the shower, ran to find my kid wrapped in the shower curtain and water spraying sideways across the bathroom.Equal parts funny and frustrating. A gasketed pin cracked and shot out of this extension arm, just six months after I installed it, and water followed. It's in the trash now and I'm looking for something sturdy.It's cheap, it's easy to install - but all of these products area - but the quality just isn't there. And you might find yourself mopping up a lot of water…

Great extender on my review.

This is a great item to have. As the name suggests, it extender the shower head. I am a shorter person and this extender brings the shower head closer to me. In my opinion a closer shower head makes the shower so much enjoyable.

Pros
  • I bought two and one broke. Anyone know the warranty:? I will buy again.

  • The piece broke a week or so after getting it! The extender has plastic threads that broke!

Pefect height adjustment for the taller person.

We had to add a shower wand to our shower which caused the showerhead to sit lower. This adds a lot of height back to the head so no more stuping over to rinse hair.

  • When adjusting this product over a year the grip wore out and will not stay tight.

Just what we needed.

It was easy to install and offers a wide range of positioning. Allowed me to bring an adjustable shower head down low enough to where it can be reached.

Works like a charm for my opinion

Nice and solid. This was a necessity as my shower pipe is too high up even for me being 6' tall and the water would cool down a lot by the time it reached me. With this arm I have so much range of motion and I don't lose a bunch of heat with how much closer I can have my shower head

The locking mechanism fell apart

The locking mechanism that holds the extension in place broke and just spins. I had to move it 3 times over the 7 months I had it because the water valve broke and I had to replace it. I would not think that moving it just 3 times would wear out the tightening mechanism.

Cheap - lasted 6 months

Have had it for 6 months. Was a challenge getting it up but once it was up it had to stay in one spot otherwise the entire thing would start falling apart. Finally bit the dust last night. I would suggest spending a little more for a higher quality extension.

If your shower head is short and your tall, buy it

Fire product! Make your shower taller and almost into a rainfall shower. Only thing is, if not tight, like TIGHT it'll leak

very cheaply made china part, breaks quickly, threads strip on locking handle

I installed this extension so I could have a little distance from the end wall with my waterfall shower head and it worked well for almost 5 showers, during the 5th shower, the threaded handle just slipped dropping the shower head onto my head, I tried to put it back up but couldn't get it to re-tighten.I shut it off, got out,dried, dressed, then treid to see what the problem was.Turns out the threads in the handle are completely stripped and will not grab the nut it locks onto.Buyer beware…

Add Height to Shower

Exactly as described worked perfect in my shower. I am 6'2" and the shower head is only 5'. Needed to add some extra height so I can stand in the shower to rinse off. Simple installation with little effort. Even included thread tape for assembly. Worth the money for this excellent shower extension piece.

Strongest one I have owned.

I have owned 3 of these in the past and this has got to be the strongest I have had. The levers to tighten the joints is nice and it has little teeth that help lock it two. Now let's see if I remember this one when I move out of my apartment. . .

Looks great and is easier to adjust then other styles.

Love the matte finish and the twist knobs look way better to me then the butterfly style and are easier to grip and use. That's my review.

This was a god send, my new house has not 1 but 2 showers with really low/short shower heads. This has solved a HUGE problem. Love!

Cheaply made and arrived defective!

Opened the pkg today, installed the extender, ran the shower to test it, aaaaaand it's leaking where the part that rotates (with the screw) meets the rest of the extender. Not just a drip, but a solid stream of water.This item is super cheap folks! Yet its listed as an Revain favorite? I am getting quite tired of the cheaply made products with fake positive reviews getting promoted on here tbh.

wish this could of been better

after installing this today and given it a try that i found this wasn't for me since i know this wont be for everyone since im not mad this had failed on me after i couldn't keep the arm tighten down

Installs with ease and high quality heavy stainless

I now have a complete rain shower with this fabulous shower head adjustable extension arm. All tools are included so you will be done in a minute or two. Easy, sturdy and high quality. Also has spare washer and faucet screen.

Should have done better research

While simple enough to install my extender literally stripped during the first attempt to install. After that I ended up putting multiple extra layers of tape around the threads to keep it on. And the part that holds the head itself is comical to say the least. As shown after loosening the knob to adjust the knob no longer gripped enough to cause any stiffness in the head. So Im back again with a rain shower head that wont rain on me. Luckily I have already ordered another one from a different…
