Dogs that don't jump are safe
Perfect for dogs that don't jump on gates. Prevents my Havanese from going down the stairs but does not jump or approach them. If a child or a dog squeezed the mesh like a cloth, it would likely deteriorate. It cleans easily and works great for us.
