I need this for my shrimp. This is made for a small tank. It comes with all the necessary air hoses. If you hang it up, you don't have to worry about connecting the plug. But when you have it under the tank, it has an air line, a connector that you put between the tank and the pump. It also comes with an air stone. Which I found fantastic because that's all I need for my shrimp. I'm impressed how quiet it is. All 4 legs are made of rubber. So it's super quiet. Overall great for a small pool. I wouldn't use it for anything over 20 gallons. My aquarium with shrimp has 10 liters.
