A Weight Set In a Tiny Bag

I have immune issues, which unfortunately cause my bones and joints to stop working. I ache. It's not fun. In my 42 years of life I have endured a lot of physical therapy and occupational therapy during which all of my therapists have recommended to me that I do consistent at home exercises. The problem is that I also am unable to control my body temperature and I overheat quickly and without warning, so exercising is off limits. My physical therapy is limited to stretching, which does the job, but often makes me feel like I'm 95 years old.I've seen a lot of resistance bands in my news feed lately because I guess it is the new fitness craze. I have not really been paying attention, until my physical therapist suggested I try them.First, I will say, I was entirely not on board. I have used bands before to rehab my knees after replacements and my hips because of arthritis. The bands work, but they are awkward and sort of a pain to use. These bands are not PT bands. They are like weights in a rubber band form. I have a list of PT exercises I can do in a chair, so I immediately tried with the hardest band and found there was absolutely no way that was going to work. I moved down to the extra light band and found a winner. These are legit. There is a handy little pamphlet of exercises included as well as a bag to keep the bands in when they are not being used. I could see these taking the place of an entire weight set for someone who travels. I will use the one extra light band along with the exercises from my PT and the rest of the bands will go to my husband.
