Honestly, nobody likes to vacuum. Small spills do happen sometimes, and frankly, getting a big, heavy upright vacuum to take care of them sucks. This sweeper is perfect for picking up small messes, cat hair, my long wavy hair, cat litter strewn everywhere, dirt and just about anything that can land on my floors and carpets. I have medium to low pile carpets and LVP floors and nothing escapes this sweeper. I am completely satisfied with that. He collects everything. I chose this sweeper because 1. it doesn't have a design flaw that most sweepers have, namely a narrow metal rod that breaks easily at the base (I'm looking at you Bissell) 2. the 'brushes' on the The bottom actually has valves that work much better, and 3.
