Fits perfectly on the filter and also slides around the filter with ease. Harley made the tolerances tight to get at the 2017 Dyna Street Bob's oil filter, but it worked just fine. I've used it in combination with a custom made orange plastic drip pan to try and cushion the oil leak from the filter and while it's not perfect it turned out to be a lot better than without it. The filter wrench has a notch which is handy for making sure the wrench fits the filter properly and can also help separate the filter and wrench after removal. good tool.
