So far this article is draining my camera's battery instead of charging it. I installed the solar panel and waited a few days before connecting it to my Arlo. I charged the camera to 100% last night before connecting the solar panel. This morning I wake up with a camera battery reading 54%. The battery does not drain as quickly during weeks of normal use when not connected to another source and during some events. I'll wait a few more days and then come back here with the results. But so far this product gets less than 1 star from me. ****** AS PROMISE, UPDATE: The device appears to be helping the camera hold its charge. I don't have an icon to indicate it's connected to a power source that would allow it to record those few seconds before the event, but it seems to do what I need it to do. don't stand on the stairs every time. month to charge the Arlo battery. What's odd is that accessing the camera through the app shows a full charge, but activity zones are disabled because they're "unplugged". In addition, when accessed through the online system, the camera constantly shows 54%. This appears to be a bug in the Arlo system itself. But hey, at least I don't get the incompatibility notice you get from some aftermarket charging systems. I'm still adjusting to 4 stars. Many Thanks.
