The lights are not as bright as the stock photo is showing. They're not bad, but they're not as bright. Very easy to install. The only negative thing I found is.the little tacks that they give you to put them up, really don't work. Theey kept popping back out of the wall. No matter how I adjusted them, I just couldn't get them to stay in the wall, once I tried to put the wires around it. So I ended up having to use nails to secure the lights up on the walls.The little clips are very easy to put on; and they do keep the Christmas cards in place. There is no timer. There is no dimmer. There is just a place where you put three AA batteries in. And then there's a switch to turn them on and off.The wire is gold; With little itty bitty tiny lights. The Strand is extremely long; so you might have to tuck it in somewhere, if you can't use it all. It is impossible to cut it down, because you're going to destroy the light attachment.Overall.it's nice. But it's probably good if you use a really giant wall, or a big door frame. A standard door is going to use about half of this.
