it's a giant. No matter how hard you bite, it will NOT be as thin as the mouthguard you used before. I believe this is intentional as it leaves a HUGE hole in front of your mouth to breathe. It certainly takes some getting used to, but by the end of my first workout with it I really appreciated it. It's longer than I would like. I'm not a tall person, so it goes far into my mouth, hitting my (admittedly sensitive) gag reflex. I thought it was useless (and previously left a review stating this before deciding to let it run longer and subsequently changing that review) but after sitting at my desk for several hours using it for After a few minutes, I almost completely figured out this problem. The day after I got used to him at my desk, my first workout was with him. To be honest I really liked it when my first work set came out. One note: it looks like it will NEVER fit right out of the box. This is because it shrinks a bit when cooked, ESPECIALLY the connector between the pieces. This makes it the right size and sits on the right teeth.
