Review on πŸš— JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge: Expert Accuracy & 200 PSI Power by Sam Bhushan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Strong and well built. Accurate and consistent readings.

TL;DR - a good caliber but too big to keep in the glove box. Strong and well built. Accurate and consistent readings. This is the third pressure gauge in my collection. I use the JACO FlowPro Tire Inflator Gauge (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ETXA2EW/) to inflate tires on my vehicles and bikes and have noticed that the built in analog gauge is off by 3-4psi. Annoying, but it's a powerful inflator so I thought I might add a digital pressure gauge to it. I bought two, both from Revain: 1) JACO Elite (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JL8YB36/) for which this review is being made, and 2) TEKTON 5491 (https://www .amazon.com/gp/product/B0037V0EW8) I tested all three sensors with built-in TPMS on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2016 GMC Yukon XL. I tested each tire and came to the following conclusion: Both JACO Elite and Tekton were TPMS compatible in both vehicles and only a couple of the 8 tires tested showed +/- 1 PSI - JACO FlowPro showed -3 to -4 PSI for all 8 tires. tested Tekton against JACO Elite and found that their readings differed by just under 1psi. likes to talk. So what should you buy? I personally choose Tekton because it's cheaper. JACO is bigger, stronger and better quality. The backlight goes out after a while, which annoys me. I could only turn it back on by scrolling through the blocks or turning it off and on again. It's quite large and takes up a lot of space in the glove box or on the center console. I leave mine in the garage with the compressor. The deflation button is a nice addition, but to be honest it's easier not to push the gauge all the way down the stem - the air will come out. Requires two hands to operate. Tekton fits much better in the glove box or in the center console. It is made of plastic, light and small. As with JACO, the backlight turns off after a while. In fact, the whole thing is off, but turning it back on is easier and more intuitive than JACO. I've had it for a while and fell a few times and it's held up well. This is 1/2 the price of JACO. I can control it with one hand. It doesn't have a deflation button, but if you don't push it too hard against the bar, the air will come out pretty quickly. Both gauges offer multiple units of measurement.
