The CD I received was rusty but I tried and installed anyway. Wii u won't start, says drive error. The drive would take the hard drive, but that was it. I installed my old one with a broken laser lens motor and the wii u worked fine. I repeated this process 3 times to make sure it was the drive. And of course the same error code with every installation. I was excited to get this part and get my Wii u working again, but ended up wasting my time and money on someone's old broken hard drive. I will return and buy from another seller.
