I have read many reviews about these babies and was SO happy to use them. However, when buying a product for fragile hair, quality is important. Although they will get the job done, they are very cheap. They're held together by plastic and metal prongs, and together the curling iron and handle weigh half the weight of my smaller, one-piece curling iron. In fact, he feels completely empty inside. It might break if I drop it. I'm not joking. So since I'm prone to accidents and I think $35 is a fair amount for a product that won't last more than a week in my home, I'm getting a refund and applying it to a higher quality product ( L'ange is a set of sticks that comes with a case and is programmable.It only has two settings so who knows how hot it will actually get.The other product is more expensive but considering the sale it's a reasonable price for one Set sticks, this lasts longer than a few months). The heating element was my biggest fear. I mean. I have curling irons that can break my leg if I step on them. Those kids would break if they carried half my weight. How could this NOT break and either singe the strand I'm trying to curl or stop working altogether?
