I apologize for any typos as I accidentally performed eye laser surgery the first time I turned on the device. Make sure the device is facing away from you when you press the button. Much brighter than my Solas 100, has more light modes and is used in addition to Garmin RTL515 8-65 lumen flashlights (20 steady, 8 peloton, 29 night flashes, 65 day flashes). Make sure the device is fully secured. I read some of the comments that they lost it on the first ride. When I first installed mine it stopped for about 3/4 of a second and I thought it was a click. Make sure it is completely behind the locking tab. You can mount it vertically or horizontally and choose where to place the power switch/charge port thanks to the square mounting point on the back of the flashlight. Worth the extra money compared to the Solas 250 imo. There is also a newer version of this called the Omega 300 EVO with NiteLink which pairs with a NiteLink remote control and lights allowing you to control all your (NiteLink) lights with a single remote control. I found this out after purchasing this flashlight, but as a buyer I still have no regrets that I would have to pay another $15-$20 for a flashlight that is currently on pre-order plus a remote, front light and possibly a strobe light. Lights to make it worthwhile (because with no other lights/remote, you're just pressing a button on the remote, not the taillight itself). All in all a great light for $ so far. I will update this review if there are any durability issues.
