This email. Wire did not disappoint! I could easily put it into words and it held its shape with no backing and without the use of the tiny cords that were included! The tiny zip ties were an unexpected bonus, although my project didn't need them. I squeezed those electrical cords so hard and at such sharp angles that I was afraid they wouldn't catch fire after being bullied like this, but it did catch fire! I am very impressed with its durability as well as its ability to hold its shape. I didn't do anything to attach it to my tree, I just set it up among the branches, wrapped the battery pack in tinsel and tossed it in the middle of the tree. This cable buzzes/hums a bit, but even when the room is quiet it's barely noticeable. Even with all 5 lit at the same time, it's a lot quieter than the tiny single wire I bought a few years ago. I'll get more of these next year! (Please note: I painted the wires white to match my wood.)
