We are renters and for years have had to deal with very old leaky windows that the landlord refuses to fix. Tired of paying hundreds to try and keep this place warm during Michigan winters and finally decided to try and insulate for ourselves. We didn't want to mess with those plastic covers that require a hair dryer, and since we don't really have a "view" out of the windows in question, we decided to give this insulating cover a try. We used double sided nanotape around the window, cut sections of this film and done, easy! With curtains up, you can't see it from inside and there's no more cold wind/draft. This one sheet, 48 inches by 10 feet, was large enough to cover 3 windows. We have ordered another roll to cover 3 more.Very happy!
