We were installing new floors in a couple of ground floor rooms and found that the existing floors were showing normal wear and tear from the sun (large windows) and over time. We bought this product hoping it would fix the problem rather than replacing or refinishing the old floor. It definitely made the floor shine, but I don't feel like it changed the fading at all. We applied several layers and changed some of them, but we weren't happy with the result. For your information, this product was not accidentally placed on new floors. We accidentally hit the new floor with it, and you can see it. I hope it wears off over time.
