I have bought many aprons from Revain. The one that said it was 10 ounces of cotton. I would say I returned them all, but I kept this one for myself. I did a comparison and it was a thick canvas. It also works very well for a small person but can also be for a tall person. The straps stretch. I bought it anyway to protect myself from grilling as I am a chef. I have a feeling I'll have better luck with this apron than any other I've tried. I also love all the bags. All my colleagues want one too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
