I’m very pleased with this water bottle, I purchased it for my hike across Hadrian’s wall. It is light weight yet durable, however the titanium lid weighs just about the same as the rest of the bottle so I took that off and tried to replace it with a Nalgene replacement lid. This unfortunately did not work as the replacement lid I purchased wouldn’t seal properly so I had to recycle a lid off another bottle I found in my hiking stuff.That being said the bottle is of good quality with no real metallic taste.When you first get it the metal lid and bottle screech a bit while you put the lid on and off. The screech and the weight were why I ditched the metal lid in the end.I have not used it for boiling water yet I’m ashamed to say but over all its been a good water bottle. I purchased the 1050ml.
