I have been buying these shoes for several years in a row because they are very good for my son's feet in summer. In sandals he needs extra protection at the tip of his ear, but the tongue of these boots doesn't have a loop or attachment to the strap (the older version of the shoe had an elastic loop on the tongue that had Velcro that held the tongue through). That means it won't stay on its feet and move around while your little one walks all day. That's why my son always takes his shoes off because he gets uncomfortable when his tongue slips down, so we're constantly struggling to hold his shoes.
