Review on 🔄 Sicce Interchangeable Cartridge for Internal Filter with Included Filter Media by Ashley Godwin

I gave this filter a higher rating than the other 2 reviews I read. Why? Because he does a very good job in the most important categories. Filtering of my aquarium water and flow rate. The filter comes with 2 filter options: a cartridge with sponge only and a very small cartridge with sponge and activated carbon. I only use a sponge in a planted aquarium. I clean the filter after 4 weeks and you are definitely seeing debris build up. Rinse briefly in aquarium water and it is clean. I like a very small profile in my pelvis. I like the flow rate, very good for such a small filter. As other reviewers have suggested, the filter can be noisy IF it is not fully submerged in water ie I have the top of the filter right on the waterline. I also had problems with suction cups at first. They are small and I put the filter in another set up tank with a Fluval 407 filter to inoculate the sponge for my new tank. The filter did not stick to the glass. However, when I finally placed the sicce filter in my small fish tank, the suction cups held onto the glass really tightly, as evidenced by the grip they have when I remove the filter for monthly cleaning. I like this filter for the high flow rate, good filtration, and the small overall size of the filter, especially since it fits right into the tank and space is always an issue. If you need a different type of filtration than a sponge or sponge/charcoal, such as B. adding filter material, you will have to look elsewhere. Making the device a bit larger to fit something like the Matrix would be a welcome improvement.
