I bought 2 of these for aesthetic reasons as I am starting to modify my 2007 BMW 328xi (E92 coupe). Knowing this, I bought it anyway. Whoever I drove on the Autobahn and unfortunately my engine exploded. I was stuck on the side of the freeway for 2 hours no big deal when the tow truck driver showed up he said there was only one point to tow and that was my tow hook which I bought and put on the front. Remember when I bought the tow hooks they said they were NOT FOR TOWING. So I asked the driver if there was any way to find another seat. Unfortunately he said no. So we hung the tow chain from his recoil tow truck and hung it on the tow hook. The tow hook was able to pull the car fully onto the platform without removing, stretching or anything without even damaging the tow hook. 10/10 recommend!
