I am new to cycling and was looking for a reasonably priced pant to reduce the collar and get used to the fit; they are perfect for that. The only reason I took off a star is because it's a bit weird; I'm short and stocky so I got 3X and that's why the pants are full length instead of calf length as advertised. This in itself is not a problem for me, but the zippers on the back of the calf are very uncomfortable and scratch my legs when walking and riding. I ended up only partially unzipping them, which no doubt looked odd, but was much more convenient. The soft seat was great and made my ride much more bearable than before.
