I found this camera to be very easy to install and worked very well on my 1997 F150 which did not have a rear camera. I've tried several rear cameras and this one has a very clear picture that shows what's behind you very well. I didn't connect it to the reverse light for power, I connected it to the running lights so I can turn it on and off as needed. It's very easy to install on the dashboard so that the screen is in a position where it's out of the way but still visible. The magnetic mount is very convenient as you can remove the screen when not in use to put it away and put it back on very quickly. The camera mounts very easily by loosening the top 2 license plate screws and I placed the bracket behind the license plate and then replaced the screws. Power from the running lights was easy to find in the driver's side taillight. You'll also find a reversing light here if you only want it to be on in reverse. Then I carefully tied up the excess wire and carefully routed the Boundary Wire along the wire coming out of the camera. It took about 20 minutes to fully connect. I highly recommend DoHonest's products as they are an affordable range of cameras with very clear images even when you are driving down the road at 55km/h.
