I've looked at a lot of laundry faucets and found that this is the only faucet under $40 that uses ceramic valves. In this category of mixers, the choice is small. They either cost 2-3x the price of this faucet or cheap junk around $20-30 from reputable stores like Project Source (Lowe's), Glacier Bay (Home Depot). SKIP THIS IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING TO REINSTALL YOUR FAUCET IN A YEAR OR 2 YEARS. The faucet is of great value for the faucet with ceramic valves. Instead of paying 3x for a Kohler (which also comes with ceramic valves), use this one. Looks and feels like a quality faucet. The $20-30 you can find at big stores are all junk. I just leaked one at the wrong time.
