I just received this surge protector and it has 4 outlets on the side and 4 outlets on top and 3 usb ports on top. The side outlets should be regular plugs, as anything larger, like an AC adapter, will result in the surge protector being off the ground. Therefore, there is a possibility that the AC adapter will be ripped out of the socket. The sockets on top can easily be used for larger plugs like power adapters as they hang down the side. However, if they are too big and heavy, their weight can cause the power adapter to fall out of the socket. Outlets should be flipped sideways so the grounding plug is at the top and not the bottom; thus large adapters could be used on the sides. The real surge protector plug is a flat plug, but it's angled to the right, and I want it angled to the left. A pivoting fork would be perfect so you can easily place it left or right. The cable is also flat, making it easy to place between something and the wall. As for actual protection, I don't know. This is until something drastic happens and if such a problem arises I will update this review.
