Review on 🔧 Enhanced Metra 95-7863 Honda Element Double DIN Kit for 2003 and beyond by Greg Lockhart

This unit consists of three parts: plates to adapt the HU to the element mounting screws, the HU bezel trim and the replacement instrument panel. While it appears to work, the quality is about what I would expect from a cheap mass-produced imitation. The HU's bezel trim was a little tight on the specific HU I used, but this can be fixed by cutting off some of the plastic. Annoying, but not the biggest problem. Dashboard replacement is a complete POS. The brackets don't fit snugly in the dash like they are stock. So it's loose and needs to be glued or taped somehow. Also, it just isn't very tight fitting. Update: I was told by the installer that you must remove the metal clips from the factory rosette for the rosette to snap into place. Once you do that, it will match correctly. This product will not work without these clamps.
