Bought this kettle to replace an old one we had. I was specifically looking for one with an adjustable/variable temperature control as some of the teas and other beverages I make require a specific water temperature when heated and it can be difficult to guess the temperature once the water is heated. if you have a thermometer. I found this teapot and decided to try it. It was very easy to open and set up, and it does what it's supposed to. I've been using it for almost a month now and haven't had any problems with it. The temperature control isn't fully customizable as you can only set presets, but there are several options to choose from and at least one of them is the temperature you need the water to be heated. The design is also very nice, it looks very modern and goes well with the style of many kitchens. In general I am satisfied with the kettle, I recommend it. I have high hopes that it will last a long time.
