Review on 💧 Enhance Water Purity with PUR MAXION Replacement Pitcher Filter - 4 PACK by Miriam Hettich

I received a box for 6 pur water filters with 4 filters inside. To be honest I ordered 4 filters so I received my 4 filters. Someone used a sharpie to mark the number "4" over the original "6" on the box, which had previously been opened and resealed. When I buy a grocery item, I prefer a NEW item in the original packaging for food safety reasons. especially when you pay a lot of money for a product! I paid the high price of $64 for 4 filters! The filters themselves were sealed in a gold Mylar sleeve as usual, but a few bits of charcoal fell out when opened. This has never happened to me in the past when purchasing this product. Red flag. The blue plastic filter housing looked dented, leading me to believe the filter may have been used and refilled previously. I'm all for recycling, but if that's the case, I'd rather know BEFORE I buy. I can't say for sure these filters are remanufactured but I'm pretty sure they are not what I thought I was buying. USPS label. As a caregiver for a vulnerable elderly person, I have a responsibility to keep them safe during this pandemic, which is why I can't walk into a crowded office supply store just to print a label. I lost $64 on water filters I'm not comfortable with. I am not at all satisfied with this item.
