I only gave 2 stars because sometimes it works. Many times it doesn't work. I plugged it into a charger when I first got it to make sure it charged. After that I uninstalled it to try and use. It works when I press the power button but the LEDs are blinking. I checked the power button to make sure it's not bad. Pressed a few more times. It still doesn't light up. I left it on for about a minute, then pushed the button a few more times and it started working. I tried draining the battery a bit to charge it again to see if it was a recurring problem. In this test I charged the 2nd. The second booted up with no issues the first few times but did the same as the first after I turned it off for a few minutes, but if I left the power button on it tended to work with fewer issues. I don't know how it works, or if there's just something wrong with these lighters. The LED will indicate writing, but no arcing will occur. I'll have a few more days to decide Next test is usage time and load time. Usage time is just over 5 minutes (5 min 11 sec) new. I press it once every 3 seconds for 5 seconds each. It takes around 48 minutes to fully charge using the 5V 1Amp charger and cable that comes with the cigarette lighter.
