Review on Cuisinart DGB 900BC Grind Automatic Coffeemakers by Alan Singh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great coffee maker for the kitchen and dining room

I've been looking for the right coffee maker for years and have probably tried half a dozen cheaper models from 20 to 40 euros. area creator. I hate waiting to brew, burning coffee and the general degradation of coffee quality as brewers age. I read the reviews here and decided to take the plunge into a more expensive coffee maker; and i am very satisfied. I know there are reviews that it uses too many beans. Which is probably true if you're watering your beans on a 1-to-1 setting. I've found that 8 or 10 cups on the STRONG setting with 12 cups of water makes great coffee. It also turned out that I use flying beans as if I manually grind them and make coffee for the morning. For 8 cups strong for 12 cups I get a 12 ounce bag of beans that lasts about a week. The temperature of the coffee is almost ideal for me with the addition of cream; and a full pot of coffee is brewed in less than 10 minutes. If you've been looking for a higher quality coffee pot and have moved away from the old standard, this one should make you happy.
