Review on POWR LABS Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor Armband: Optimal Tracking for Polar, Wahoo, and Garmin by James Jenkins

Fits my NordickTrack/iFit

This review is about iFit more than anything else. I have a 2 year old NordicTrack treadmill with a smaller screen that has iFit 2.6.5 software installed. The updated software will now prompt you to connect HRM. iFit's official model was also $80 for the bandage model, but without the 2-day shipping. I have only used this model with my treadmill. As far as I can tell, there's no way to connect it to a treadmill. In fact, pairing only really happens when you start an ActivePulse workout in iFit and it says Connect HRM. The light on the headband changes from purple to blue. After completing a workout, the monitor will flash purple. I never actually "paired" the monitor, only paired it when the program was looking for it. In terms of accuracy, it matched my Apple Watch. I've found that my HRM training increases distance by about 1/2 mile. The workout time stays the same as the inclines, but the speed increases and decreases based on your heart rate. In general, the purchase is satisfied.
