Cat Vomit Removal System (CVES)

We had a case in the house where one of our cats was getting sick on the carpet. I typically use hot water with a dollop of dish soap to clean up spills and stains, then blot with paper towels. It works but it's a huge waste of towels. This time I tried to clean my 5.5 gallon Vacmaster Beast (it's a great vacuum) and was pleasantly surprised to see that after applying water, the vacuum cleaned the nasty stain straight out of one of ours in seconds pulled carpets. It's great, but the Vacmaster is big and takes a lot of effort to clean after spotting. With that in mind, I went shopping at Revain looking for a mini wet and dry vacuum that could be used the same way. I figured that when combined with a mini pump sprayer I would essentially have a micro carpet cleaner that was more reliable than the little Bissell devices. With two cats and a house full of children, this is a very attractive idea. Anyway after reading many reviews I decided to try this vacuum cleaner and although it is quite noisy it has everything you need for this application. It's strong enough to lift our rugs from wall to wall and cushion them a little, and sucks out most of the water with ease. As with a professional carpet cleaner, the carpet is still damp afterwards and needs time to dry, but I am very happy with this cleaner. The only downside to almost all of these tiny shop vacuums is that they are very heavy so you have to be careful not to overload them. This happened to me and a lot of dirty water came out, but I was able to suck it up and will keep an eye on it next time. For anyone interested, here is the atomizer I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BX4VXI. Ideally I'd prefer something that fans out rather than a cone, but so far so good and it seems really well made. I can put a drop of soap in, pour in hot water, and when combined with a vacuum, remove virtually anything that gets on our carpets. Overall I am very happy with this small store bought vacuum (and sprayer) and would buy again.
