Despite how expensive this litterbox is, I think it's worth the price. I NEEDED a tall litter box without a middle seam because my elderly cat was peeing over the side of her regular litterbox.Apparently, tall sided litter boxes without a middle seam don't exist outside of Modkat. So I decided to give this one a shot.I love it. The cats love it. They have a smaller litterbox elsewhere that they practically stopped using because this one is so great. The box is super easy to clean, the liner is super easy to install and SOOOOO much better than regular plastic liners that get torn up or leak. The litterbox is spacious and looks modern and sleek.Overall though, I think it's the small details that really make this for me.I like that it's got an option for a top or front entry. (Both types of entry are provided so you can install one or the other)I like that there are handles on either side of the top of the litterbox for easy moving.The scoop is better than any scoop I've used before and stores handily by clipping onto the side of the box.The top opens halfway for easy access into the box, or you can very easily remove it completely and slide it back on when you're done.Another totally unexpected detail was that the packaging from Modkat is made to be turned into an interactive cat toy! They even provide a little ball to put in the box and give the cats something to bat at. Super cool touch, and to me really shows that the company cares about their kitty customers. Plus, my cats love it and still play with it.
