This unit looks good, is compact and delivers decent quality. The problem is that I use it to toggle the second monitor output on my laptop running Windows 10. When I switch to the second source my laptop would reset the displays and move all windows from the second display back to the primary display. Then I would have to re-shift them every time I switch inputs. This is just part of how Windows 10 works. The solution was to add an EDID emulator bandwidth adapter to KVM, which is built into the laptop's HDMI input. (I've used an EVanLak EDID emulator and it works great.) I now have an HDMI KVM that actually works and costs a lot less than expensive KVMs with built-in EDID emulation.
